Driving out of my driveway, I spot my neighbor's dog, U, whom I babysat last week. The little dog leaps in the air when she sees me. I stop the car and give her a hug. My neighbor says, "Boy, she really likes you. You must be the Alpha personality in your household."
I tell Harrison this piece of information. He rolls his eyes and says, "We don't need a dog whisperer to tell us you're an Alpha."
Maybe I am, maybe I'm not. What I really think is going on is that I fed that dog so well during her stay. I'd love me, too.
