Went to lunch with Susan this afternoon. Decided to try one of the restaurant's famous watermelon drinks, but first checked that there was no added sugar in there. Waiter reassured me that it was "pure watermelon and a dash of mint." Got the drink. Okay, not great. Susan tried it and decided it would be better with vodka. Couldn't do that mid-day, but she's right.
Left The Cottage (restaurant) and went shopping with Susan. Twenty minutes later, I was almost doubled-over with cramps.
Tonight, I Googled "watermelon and diarrhea." It's a known culprit.
I will stick with iced tea.
