Karen, my WW leader, has challenged us to try a new fruit or a new vegetable this week.
Any suggestions?
My friend V thinks I should try a "hybrid fruit" (pluot...apricum, peacotum, plumcot). My friend Mary says "spaghetti squash....you like spaghetti...you like squash...".
Solicitations welcome.
I need to try this and report on it by Friday's class.

The following are in season at farm stands all around us: figs, eggplant (exotic varieties - not the traditional eggplant parm variety), heirloom tomatoes with fresh basil and balsamic, grilled portabella mushrooms with a little EEOO and balsamic. - go to Verrill Farms - the options are endless - just stay away from the fruit pies and baked goods!
