you don't know what you've got till it's gone (m)

Major water catastrophe.  The Massachusetts Water Resource Authority broke a main based in my hometown.  Millions of gallons are spilling into The Charles River.  We've been ordered to conserve water and even boil it before drinking it/washing vegetables, dishes etc.  Ban affects several towns east of here, including my mother's town. 

The same day, my dryer died again.  Leaking gas like a sieve.

Funny how all  I want to do is drink water and do laundry.
