water, water everywhere (lyn)

We are now back on the Cape and have learned that on June 22 at 3pm, the boil water order was finally lifted.

We can now:

·    Drink from the tap (though that’s unlikely)
·    Put ice cubes in our drinks
·    Throw away the paper plates
·    Put clothes in the washing machine, and not think twice about it
·    Brush our teeth without using a glass of Poland Springs
·    Wash food easily without having to boil the water first and ladle it out
·    Wash our hands without using Baby Wipes or Purell
·    Take a shower without thinking of coliform and E-Coli
·    Go out to eat in a Falmouth Restaurant

Life is back to normal.
