While packing for Florida, I come across a straw hat and Helen Kaminski straw bag that I last used on our trip to Turks and Caicos. I remember wanting to upgrade my "resort" attire and got nice sandals and a nice beach cover up in addition to the hat and bag. I also got a manicure and pedicure.
I don't usually wear hats, but felt very glamorous and feminine in this one.
While walking to the pool at the hotel in Turks and Caicos, I passed by the little kids club "Coquilles." As I walked by, I heard a boy, about 6 years old, whisper loudly to his buddy, "I think that lady is a man." I looked and saw him pointing to me.
I left the hat home for the Florida trip.
